Swingcaló
Swingcaló is a Barcelona band composed of five young musicians: Laura Lacueva (clarinet), Andrés Cruz (violin), Daniel López (solo guitar), Rubén Ibáñez (rhythmic guitar) and Diego Civilotti (double bass). Their inspiration source is the manouche jazz of Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli. However, their peculiar ensemble allows them to adapt their gipsy swing to several different styles, ranging from old klezmer melodies to milonga, flamenco and Cuban beats, and even some classical pieces.
